    Somewhere around the VietNam era, guns became evil. Before then, good guys had guns. We all had cap guns, and emulated the numerous cowboy heros we saw on TV. Over the years, the press has never reported the "good guy thwarts crime" use of a gun, and Americans are pelted with story after story of crimes committed with guns. In those decades, guns and crimes have almost become synonymous, and parked in the same place of America's collective thought. In the same years it became fashionable to disdain the military, and skills such as shooting sports were removed from school campuses. Politicians began enacting anti-gun laws, and nobody cared. They didn't have a gun.
    Now we have reached a ridiculous point of over 20,000 gun laws, and more are proposed every day. These idiots really believe that passing a law will change criminal behavior. Like a magic wand, just pass a law, and the problem disappears. Study after study have shown that gun control and gun-free zones do not decrease crime, and very often may increase it.
    People want to think that we in America have no need for guns. Look at any television news channel, and see how the whole rest of the world is in peril. Why do we think we're immune? Looking forward, many predict a social/economic disaster looming for the US. There has never been a time since our Civil War where it has been more prudent for every family to be armed.

    Against the strongest King and army he led a band of men who dared to defy The Kings Law and led open rebellion.

    With declaration of liberty from the British Empire and flying flags treasonist to the same King, armed insurrection , against all laws known to him was the order of the day.

    He then has the nerve to lead this new nation as it's first President.

    Was any man more treasonous , more radical ?

    There will always come a time in the political evolution that revolution must be called for.

    Let us never become so complacent that we think our system is above improvement.
